Private Piano Lessons
All weekly private lessons are tailored to the individual interests and learning abilities of every student. Their well-rounded program builds a solid musical foundation in everything from piano technique, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, and overall musicality and performance. Group musicianship classes are occasionally scheduled and offered to all students for added enrichment. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in our two yearly recitals (held in December and June). All classes are held in studio.
Your private lesson is reserved on a weeknight or Saturday afternoon according to availability. All spots are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Missed classes can be rescheduled within the month with 24-hour notice, according to availability. Please note: missed group classes cannot be made up.

Early Beginners (4-6 years)For the youngest budding musicians I highly recommend enrolling in our group piano Music for Young Children program. Young children have a blast learning to play the piano together, through song, story, and movement. If private lessons are what you are seeking, they are still available. Parents are encouraged to attend private lessons with their young child, since home reinforcement is crucial to this age group's development. Recommended: 1/2 hour lesson.

Young Pianists (7-12 years)Learning to play the piano is an excellent way to enjoy music! Young pianists learn to read music, play the piano, and even sing songs along the way! Class activities also include rhythm activities, ear training and sight-reading. All students have the opportunity to learn together with their peers through occasional group musicianship classes. All students are invited to perform in our December and June recitals. A forty-five minute lesson is recommended for this age.

Teen PianistsAll programs are individually tailored, but teen musicians often want a larger say in their program. They receive a strong foundational knowledge in piano technique, theory and ear training, while learning to play the music they like to listen to. From classical favourites to popular arrangements, teens are immersed in a wide variety of musical styles. Voice-piano lessons are also an option! A one-hour lesson is recommended.

Adult PianistsMusic enjoyment and appreciation is central to the adult piano program. Build a strong technical foundation and discover the theory behind the music. A healthy technique is fostered, ensuring successful learning and pain-free playing. It's never too late to try something new! Returning players and first-time musicians welcome! A one-hour lesson is recommended.
